Summer in Full Swing
We have had hot, warm, wet & windy weather already this late Spring - early summer, par for the course here in South Lakes!
Please remember to try and conserve our water by having two water butts that you can use as other Counties start hose pipe bans. Weeds are growing faster than a 6 month old baby and before we know it we will be battling with a jungle of grass and weeds - if only there was a magic solution.

On a lighter note we are approaching Show time - Saturday 6th September. I am sure you are all growing some specialist produce and flowers that will inspire us all for next year and years to come. It is always a fun filled afternoon looking
at the range of goods on show.

About Us
Milnthorpe & District Allotment Association was established over 80 years ago and has developed keen gardeners over the years to be self sufficient as well as budding entrepreneurs who have become famous in their own right.
We have two sites in Milnthorpe with over 40 plots and have a great community spirit, we hold several events each year including our Plant Sale, BBQ and of course our Horticultural Show.
Allotmenting is a great way of enjoying the outdoors and getting some fresh air whilst keeping fit however they are a way of living for a lot of people.

Half or a third Allotments are available for first timers
approx 14m by 7m for a half.

We always have a waiting list so please enquire and we can add you and advise you when something becomes available.
Hen/Pigeon Pens
These are on Ashpyre site some Pigeon and Hen Pens - we don't have many of these and there is often a waiting list.
