Spring is on its way!
Don't get carried away just yet - here in the North of England it can still get chilly and even frost until late April, however signs of spring are here - Daffodils are up and snow drops are out 😊and doesn't it feel good.
​
Most people will be eager to get into the garden and start tidying up, but please remember we have hatinators that have not woken up yet and we don't want to disturb them.
​
We have our Plant Sale on Saturday 10th May 9.30am - 11.30am so please sow us plenty of extra seeds that we can sell to raise funds for the Association.

About Us
Milnthorpe & District Allotment Association was established over 80 years ago and has developed keen gardeners over the years to be self sufficient as well as budding entrepreneurs who have become famous in their own right.
We have two sites in Milnthorpe with over 40 plots and have a great community spirit, we hold several events each year including our Plant Sale, BBQ and of course our Horticultural Show.
Allotmenting is a great way of enjoying the outdoors and getting some fresh air whilst keeping fit however they are a way of living for a lot of people.

Half or a third Allotments are available for first timers
approx 14m by 7m for a half.

We always have a waiting list so please enquire and we can add you and advise you when something becomes available.
Hen/Pigeon Pens
These are on Ashpyre site some Pigeon and Hen Pens - we don't have many of these and there is often a waiting list.
