Horticultural Show
Saturday 5th September
Well doesn't it come round fast! In a couple of weeks we have our 83rd Horticultural & Craft Show held at St Thomas' Church, Milnthorpe LA7 7QA from 1.00-3.00pm
This is what we all secretly grow for each year, the competitive streak comes out in all of us and we tried and keep the best items hidden and don't advise what we are entering so we can get the First Place card or even win the category and hold the cup for 12 months. Its a busy day and we have entrants from all over including our open categories for out of area entrants.
We have coffee & cake available in the afternoon with our amazing raffle which has a whopping first prize of £100 and at the end of the day we auction off items not required by their owners.
If you would like to enter and haven't received a Schedule then please let us know and we can get one out to you.
About Us
Milnthorpe & District Allotment Association was established over 80 years ago and has developed keen gardeners over the years to be self sufficient as well as budding entrepreneurs who have become famous in their own right.
We have two sites in Milnthorpe with over 40 plots and have a great community spirit, we hold several events each year including our Plant Sale, BBQ and of course our Horticultural Show.
Allotmenting is a great way of enjoying the outdoors and getting some fresh air whilst keeping fit however they are a way of living for a lot of people.

Half or a third Allotments are available for first timers
approx 14m by 7m for a half.
We always have a waiting list so please enquire and we can add you and advise you when something becomes available.
Hen/Pigeon Pens
These are on Ashpyre site some Pigeon and Hen Pens - we don't have many of these and there is often a waiting list.
